He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Higgins and Avis Higgins (Randall); and his brother Robert Higgins. He is survived by: his children, John Higgins and Nicole Higgins; his stepson Ian Mayo; his children, Ian and Alice Eisner; his grandchildren, Casey Higgins, Jessica Higgins, Christopher Higgins, Austin Higgins, Zachary Higgins, John Higgins Jr., Michael Paige and Jenna Mayo; his brothers, Richard (Kathy), Carroll (Rachel), Terence (Nancy), Hoagy (Felice) and Chris; his sister-in-law Nancy Higgins; his friends, Richard and Karen Scahill; and his daughter Monique Demers. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
