He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Gearin and Dorothy R. Gearin (Meserve); and his brother Lawrence Gearin. He is survived by: his wife Eileen L. Gearin (Cahill); his sons, Sean Gearin (Patricia Vehmeyer) of Townsend and Mark Gearin (Alycia Riddell) of Billerica; his brothers, Richard Gearin (Janet) of Billerica, Dennis Gearin (Maureen) of North Hampton, NH, Kevin Gearin of Dracut and Brian Gearin (Sandy) of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Arthur, Kelly, Colin, Skyla and Jackson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church (460 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
