Joanna touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Joanna’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Pulverenti and Alfred Pulverenti; her husband Albert Hamel Sr.; and her siblings, Betsie Robinson and Salvatore Pulverenti.
She is survived by: her children, Donna and Albert Jr.; her daughter-in-law Linda; and her grandson Cooper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church (200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH 03079). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (329 Main St, Salem, NH 03079).
