He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Carlsen (Caswell) and Joseph Glendye, Sr.; and his brothers, Richard and James Glendye. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Glendye (Obst) of Salem, NH; his children, Linda Lee (James Hill, Jr.), Robert Glendye of Salem, NH, Deborah Larrabee (Karen Czifrik) of Salem, NH and Patrick Boisvert of Farmington, NH; his grandchildren, Meghan Carr, Stacey Mauer, JJ Bedard, Molly (Paul Frade), Morgan (Thomas Schaefer), Nicole Bedard, Eric Czifrik (Katie Aliberti) and Kyle Czifrik; and his great grandchildren, Cady, Chloe, Nora, Atticus and Emmett.
