He was predeceased by: his parents, Aime Plante and Eva Plante (Gelinas); and his grandson Andrew Plante. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginnie" Plante (Silva); his children, Stephen J. Plante (Sally Roach) of Seattle, WA, Philip C. Plante (Theresa) of Hampstead, Mark A. Plante (Glenna Amero) of Methuen, Paula M. Plante of Tewksbury, MA and Anne P. Miller (Stephen) of Lynn, MA; his brothers, Bernard Plante of Manchester, NH and Normand Plante of Bedford, NH; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Bryan, Renee, Valerie and Stephanie. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the New Hampshire Telephone Museum, 1 Depot St., Warner, NH.
