Richard J. Hassett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2025, at the age of 92, Richard J. Hassett (Salem, New Hampshire) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hassett and Alice Hassett; his brother Frank; his son Richard J. Hassett Jr.; and his siblings, William Hassett, Francis Hassett, James Hassett and Michael Hassett.
He is survived by: his sister Anne; his wife Ruth A. Hassett (Habeeb); his children, Paul Hassett (Ellen), Rebecca Bunnell (Steve), Jeffrey E. Chaisson (Pamela) and Cheryl A. Chaisson; and his granddaughter Nicole Chaisson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church (200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH 03079).
