He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne (Boisvert) and Raoul Houde; his brothers, Aime, Charles and Peter; and his daughter Linda.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Houde (Connors); his children, Steven (Lynne), Thomas (Anne), David (Susan) and Michael (Jo-Ann Houde); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Steven Jr., Ryan, Daniel, Sarah, Brianna, Scott, Heather, Nathaniel and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Brett, Ivy, Fallyn, Kamden, Colby, Ysabelle, Julianne, Hailey, Katie, Brittany, Gregory, Chase and Cullen.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation (https: //http://www.kidney.org) or to a charity of the donor's choice.
