He is survived by: his children, Kim Grewelle (Richard), Timothy Knowles (Katherine), Tracy Smith (Russell), Eli Knowles and Emily Knowles; his grandchildren, Richard Grewelle IV, Courtney Grewelle, Riley Smith, Caitlyn Smith, Paige Knowles, Natalie Knowles, Charlotte Knowles and Ava MacLean; his siblings, Kathleen Noel and Larry Knowles; and his sister-in-law Holly.
