He was predeceased by: his father John Calvin Lear. He is survived by: his mother Susan L. Sinclair of Berwick, ME; his brother Gordon; his sister-in-law Kelley Lear of Sarasota, FL; his siblings' child Finnegan; and his sister Sharon Lear. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (101 Chapel St, Portsmouth, NH 03801).
