He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Frederick Gottling and Ruth Goe Gottling; and his brother Philip F. Gottling Jr. of Cincinnati, OH.. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Gottling (Sue) of Sunapee, NH; his children, Cecily Gottling (Daniel) of Nyack, NY, William (Bill) and Martha Cottrill (Tom) of New London, NH.; and his grandchildren, Yael, Ellie Politi, Nikkita Subramanian, Sarah, Katie, Owen and Robin Cottrill.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chadwick Funeral Home (235 Main St, New London, NH 03257). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eastman Cemetery (490 N Rd, Sunapee, NH 03782).
