With sadness, we share the passing of Gary A. Simard of Tilton, New Hampshire. Gary, born on March 2, 1943, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Gary for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Gary’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Simard and Anna Simard (Winn); and his children, Christopher Simard, Traci Kruger and Nicole Hulen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendi Simard and Charlene Dearborn. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium (172 King St, Boscawen, NH 03303). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Chapel (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
