He was predeceased by: his stepfather Charles McDonald; and his grandparents, Roger Selecky, Priscilla Ryan, Wilfred and Phyliss Matson.
He is survived by: his parents, David George Matson (Leslie) of Troy and Terry Jane McDonald of Troy; his daughter Addison "Soony" Matson of Jaffrey; his sister Renee Snow (Arthur) of Troy; his girlfriend Randi Vaillancourt of Hinsdale; his stepbrother Harlan Eno; and his nieces, Chelsie Thibault (Jeffrey) of Jaffrey, Alyssa Cote (Derek) of Jaffrey and Colby Stevenson (Ryan) of Winchendon. He is also survived by 5 great nephews; 1 great niece; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and his dog.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the American Legion (20 Webster St, Jaffrey, NH 03452).
