She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eichhorn and Marguerite Eichhorn (Blank). She is survived by: her husband Carl H. Patten Sr.; her children, Karen Parsells (Frederick) of Keene, Kathy (Herb Frink) of Surry and Carl H. Patten Jr. of Troy; her sister Shirley Hall of Pike; and her grandchildren, Carol Deeney, Carl Patten III, Brienne Cioffi, Brittny Parsells-Johnson, Eric Frink and Adam Frink. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Horse Meadow Cemetery (91 North Horse Meadow Rd, North Haverhill, NH 03774).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Monadnock Humane Society or Kilham Bear Center.
