Richard E. Cary Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard E. Cary of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cary and Dora Cary (Knutson). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Johnson; his sister Susan Jamieson; his children, Alison Cary Almquist, Leslie E. Cary and John O. Cary; and his grandchildren, R. Philip Almquist, Carolyn C. Almquist, Jamison R. Cary and Meghan E. Behen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many other beloved family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Village Players (51 Glendon St, Wolfeboro, NH 03894).
