It is with sadness that the passing of Wendell Philip Bassett Sr. of Weare, New Hampshire is shared. Wendell, born on August 4, 1931, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Wendell will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bassett and Priscilla Bassett (Knights); and his wife Barbara Katherine Bassett (Saturley). He is survived by: his children, Philip Bassett (Susan) of Daniels, WV, Randolph (Jo-Ellen) of Laconia, NH, Jane (David) of Dallas, TX and Rebecca (William) of Weare, NH; and his siblings, Donald Bassett of Epsom, NH, David Bassett of Penobscot, ME and Carroll Bassett of Sandown, NH. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
