He was predeceased by: his son Phillip Gauthier; and his sister Betty Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Louis Gauthier and Mildred Gauthier (Willians); his spouse Avis Slade; his sons, Louis Gauthier, II and Brett Gauthier; and his brother Richard Gauthier of West Chesterfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great -great grandchildren.
