She was predeceased by: her parents, David R. McKerley and Mary McKerley (Dawson); her husband Arthur "Tim" Johnson; her former husband Stephen Ekstrom; and her brothers, David, Forrest, James, Stillman and Matthew McKerley.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Fortier of Wilmot, NH, Nichole Fortier of Wilmot, NH, Jamie Santos (Fortier) of Reading, MA, Shane Fortier of New London, NH., Mathew Johnson of Wilmot, NH, Travis Johnson (Jessica) of Andover, NH, Timothy Johnson (Jules) of Andover, NH., Zachary Bourque of Buffalo, NY and Hannah Burns of Lackawanna, NY; her daughter-in-law Joan Murray (Sumner) of Canterbury, NH; and her caregiver Christine King of Lempster, NH.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chadwick Funeral Home (235 Main St, New London, NH 03257). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church (52 Gould Rd, New London, NH 03257). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evans Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to the NH Association for the Blind, NH Public Library or Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice.
