He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Gemmell and Marie Gemmell (Schaab). He is survived by: his wife Nadema Gemmell (Hyatt); his children, Elizabeth Marie Hartke (Michael) of Londonderry, NH and Douglas George McClarty Gemmell II (Andrea) of Salem, NH.; his grandchildren, Jack Wilbur, Marie Angelina, Avellina Elizabeth, Nadema Bell, Luca Anthony, Gabriella Louise and Matthew James; and his sisters, Carol Hislop (Ken) and Sandy Sharo (George). He is also survived by two children, seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
