She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Webb Morang and Hilda Jewer (Rollins); and her sisters, Beverly Watson, Hildegarde Flood and Kathleen Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Carlton Griffin Jr. (Windham); her children, Kimberley Aubrey (Randy), Jennifer Dalton (Lee) and Gregory Griffin (Sasha); her grandchildren, Leanne Greenling, Kayle Aubrey, Callen Aubrey, Allison VanNoord, Neal VanNoord, Ethan Griffin and Brooke Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Sutton Cox and Bentley Aubrey. She is also survived by many friends and members of her extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, to support Joan's lifelong devotion to caring for animals.
