He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Smethurst and Eleanor Smethurst; his wife Nancy Connelly Smethurst of Londonderry, NH; his children, Robin Smethurst Clayton (William) of Meredith, NH, William Smethurst (Ann) of Alton, NH, Melissa Smethurst Lane (David) of Nashua, NH and Robert J. Smethurst (Heather) of Windham, NH; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Adam Clayton (Ashley) of Matthew, CJ, Billy Smethurst, Garrett, Brady Lane, Harper and Robert James Smethurst. He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home (38 Range Rd, Windham, NH 03087). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
