It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dennis Davey of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 70, on October 19, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Davey and Evelyn Davey (Vogel). He is survived by: his wife Kathy H. Nelson of Methuen, MA.; his children, Hilary DesMarais of Eliot, ME, Brendan Davey (Taryn) of Wolfeboro, NH and Jillian Lawlor (Kevin) of Melvin Village, NH.; and his grandchildren, Sam, Bryn, Margaret, Liam, Megan, Cullen, Addison, Maura and Jonathan.

“I've been a lawyer in Mass and NH for over 30 years. I had Dennis as an opponent in a DWI case 20 years ago and thought I knew it all until Dennis took me to school. With his wit , legal skills and respectful demeanor Dennis made short work of my defense. We became close professional friends and whenever I was in Ossipee Court I made it my mission to track him down to shake his hand and have a conversation. He almost got me to move from Mass to Wolfboro. He was a scholar and a gentleman. S.Bratt”
