He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Evangelyn Sandeen (Johanson); his siblings, Ernest Robert Sandeen and Marjorie Evelyn Sandeen; and his parents, Ernest Theophil Sandeen and Evelyn Emma Sandeen.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Dianne Wasmuth of Wolfeboro, NH; his son Mark Sandeen; his daughter-in-law Lisa of Lexington, MA; his daughters, Julie Sandeen of Ashford, CT and Janice Sandeen of Taos, NM; and his grandchildren, Andrew Sandeen Bennett, Noah Sandeen Bennett (Claudine), Zachary Sandeen Bennett (Nikki), Samuel Sandeen and Arianna Sandeen Kohler (Chad).
