He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Bresnahan and Helen Bresnahan (Levis); and his sister Mary Ellen LeBlanc (Don). He is survived by: his wife Jane Bresnahan (Baker); his children, Karen Bresnahan of San Ramon, CA, Kimberly Dikeman (Craig) of Pepperell, MA and Joseph R. Bresnahan, Jr. (Karen) of Atkinson, NH.; his grandchildren, Sean O'Connell (Drew), Brian O'Connell, Reed O'Connell, Joseph R. Bresnahan, III, John Bresnahan and Rylee Bresnahan; his great grandchild Caitlin O'Connell; and his sister Helen McKittrick (Joe).
