With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Zalgenas (Wolfeboro, New Hampshire), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Zalgenas and Frances Zalgenas; his pets, Mandy, Kelly, Brutus, MacGyver, Shaine, Falcon, Axel, Ziggy, Lucy, Whitney, Zeus, Jack, Sophia, Riley, Zelda, Shadow, Muffin, Dusty, Mittens, Patches, Scooter, Chelsea and Molly; his wife Janis Baker (Jan); his siblings, Ben Zalgenas (Lita), Ann Noe (Mark), John, Frances and Elizabeth; Andrew Cornwell, Jerilyn, Alyssa, Jessica Kelly (Rob), Owen, Spencer and Janis Cornwell (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lord Funeral Home (23 Club Ln, Wolfeboro, NH 03894).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Lakes Region Humane Society, 11 Old Route 28, Ossipee, NH 03864 or Cornerstone VNA, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867 or a charity of choice.
