He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Chambers and Florence Chambers; and his granddaughter Justine. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Suzanne Chambers, John Chambers Jr. (Kathy), Julie Lieb (Nick), Stephen Chambers (Kathie) and Joann Chambers; and his stepdaughters, Vicky McCarrick (Rick) and Susan Blight (Garry). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parsels Funeral Home (324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Laurel Memorial Park (2301 English Creek Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234).
