He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Brooks, and Lowell S. Brooks, Sr.; and his wife Ellen Schutz. He is survived by: his children, Scott (Gretchen) and Amy (Jay Sarzen); his grandchildren, Charlie Brooks, Maggie Brooks and Andrew Sarzen; and his brother Lynn.
