With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary R. Long of Allentown, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on September 8, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Long and Mary Long; and his sister Sandra Robbins. He is survived by: his sister Shirley Steele; his sibling's children, Dawn Robbins and Thomas Robbins, III; his great-nephew Luther; and his great-niece Alexandria Schlaifer.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peppler Funeral Home (114 S Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501). A masonic service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
