Susan Montgomery Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Susan Montgomery of Allentown, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on June 17, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor and Alexander Janus; her stepfather James McDermott; and her brother James McDermott, Jr. (Sue). She is survived by: her husband Harry Montgomery; her daughters, Kathleen Montgomery, Susan Montgomery (James Gehrt) and Donna Montgomery; her grandchildren, Julien Gehrt, Ian and Bevin Montgomery-Gehrt; her brother Stephen; and her sister-in-law Marie McDermott. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peppler Funeral Home (114 S Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (1282 Yardville Allentown Rd, Allentown, NJ 08501).
