She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Boyce Weeks and Ruth Blatherwicke Weeks; and her husband Vernon Leroy Hitchner. She is survived by: her children, Terri Hitchner Todd, Vernon'Blake'Hitchner and Stephanee Ruthann Hitchner LaCount (Stevie); her grandchildren, Amanda Jan Vee, Shawn Michael Benson LaCount, Ashley Brook LaCount Serfass, Emily Grace Hitchner and Holly Lynn Hitchner; and her great grandchildren, Henry Robert Tull, Elliott Sebastian Tull, Phoebe LaCount, Beau LaCount and Lorelai LaCountPredeceased.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Quinton Baptist Church (46 E Main St, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery (719 Salem Woodstown Rd, Mannington Township, NJ 08098).
