We bid farewell to Barbara Sanders of Andover, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2025 at the age of 65. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnson and Joan Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Julius Sanders; her children, Jamaal and Megan Sanders; her grandchildren, Ahlia and Leyla Sanders; her daughter-in-law Samina Sanders; and her siblings, Dennis Johnson, Jerome Johnson, George R. Johnson Jr. (Georgie), Gregory S. Johnson, Jermaine Johnson, Wali Johnson, Rudelle Johnson, Christine Paige Borrowdale and Nykia Turner (Johnson). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maguire Memorial (124 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yellow Frame Church Cemetery (1 Yellow Frame Rd, Newton, NJ 07860).
