He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hanna and Mildred Hanna (Steinfalt); the mother of his children Gail Hanna; his wife Lorraine Slim; his daughter Gay Martini; and his brothers, Bob and Hank Hanna.
He is survived by: his children, David E. Hanna, Kanela Hanna and Alexander Hanna; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Vanessa, Russell, Michael, Keri, David John, Valerie and Stephanie. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
