He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Mardaga and Lucia Marenne; his wife Yola; and his loyal Akita (Dakota). He is survived by: his children, Peter Mardaga and Claudine Mardaga (Mark McGovern); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicole, Luke and Matthew; and his sister Germaine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Henri's name to Common Sense for Animals, reflecting his lifelong love and respect for animals.
