She was predeceased by: her father Arcadio Torres; and her sisters, Magda Lewis, Maida Wilson and Alba Dowtion. She is survived by: her mother Alba N. Rivera; her husband Ronald E. Jackson; her children, Dyron Stewart, Essence Stewart, Nalai Stewart, Kalai Stewart and Ronald Stewart; her siblings, Wanda Torres, Sandra Rivera, Silkia Blackshear and Arcadio Torres II; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Jackson, Samantha Jackson-Mohammed (Wali Mohammed), Virgil Dowtion and George Schroeder (Kia Schroeder).
