She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Alston and Mary Alston; her husband Sammie Miller; her daughter Betty Jean; and her siblings, Moses Williams Sr., Preston Alston Jr., Thomasiana Singleton and Mary Rose Alston.
She is survived by: her children, Sammie Miller Jr., Mary Miller, Shirley Clayton, Cynthia Berrien and Deborah Miller; and her siblings, Louis Alston and Epsie Leola Harris. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, Cousins, A host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
