Sandra Simmons Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Simmons in Asbury Park, New Jersey, who passed away on January 17, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donnie (Chattie Mae Alston) and NJ; her husband Alton Simmons; and her daughter Alicia Spraulding. She is survived by: her siblings, Jessie Williams, Henry Alston, Almeta Alston-Simms and Warren Alston; her son William "Bobby" Simmons Winston; her sister Virginia Hostler; her grandchildren, Gary, Isaire Michaud, Alandre, NJ and Dyon; her great grandchildren, Zariah, Masyn, Zyemira, Zhuri, Ishanie, Arrianna, Aiden and Kaison; and her goddaughter Michele Hostler (Cheron Alston). She is also survived by her niece that cared for her the last years of her life; and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends she loved.
