It is with sadness that the passing of Wayne Barts of Atco, New Jersey is shared. Wayne, born on December 17, 1939 in Durham, North Carolina, passed away on September 30, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne Barts to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurther Southern and John Milton Presnell; his brother James McDonie; and his extended family, Virginia, Thomas McGuigan and Norman Hendrie.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barts; his sons, Lawrence (Sonia), Christopher (Aimee) and Michael (Audrey); his grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Larson, Eric and Jenny; his stepgrandson Anthony Robbins; his sister Ramona McClanahan; and his extended family, Rosemary, John Murtha and Salvatore DiMarco. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory (441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Christ the Redeemer Parish (318 Carl Hasselhan Dr, Atco, NJ 08004). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:40 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (260 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:40 PM to 2:10 PM at the same location.
