He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Lena West; his grandmother Mildred Winn; his father Bishop Theron Berdette Johnson, Sr.; and his siblings, Paul Johnson, Robert Johnson, Gloria Johnson and Pamela Harold.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renetta Pierce-Fitzgerald and Toni M. Cook; his sister Stephani Johnson-Norwood (Jesse) of Alabama; his grandchildren, James and Cashmia; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Ni'Lah and Cassidy; his aunt Roberta Mack; his cousin Elaine Duncan; and his family, Yolanda, Stephani, Eric, Anthony, Andrew, Victor, Kimberly and Courtney. He is also survived by eight loving cousins.
