He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his son Paul Pappas (Laura); his grandchildren, Alex, Joey and Jackie; his daughter Martha Economides (Lambros); his grandsons, Nicholas and George; his daughter Dina Walker (Matt); and his sisters, Voula, Mary and Aristoula.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (13 S Mt Vernon Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Atlantic City Cemetery (501 W Washington Ave, Pleasantville, NJ 08232).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in George's memory.
