He is survived by : his brother Monieck; his wife Charlotte; his children, Jeffrey Safirstein (Audrey), Lori Gorman (Bruce) and Russell Safirstein (Loretta); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Steven, Rachel (Dan), Julie (Mickey), Erica (Jeffrey) and David; and his great grandchild Joey.
