He is survived by: his wife Cathy Nistico (Bosak); his son Christian Nistico; his daughter-in-law Sage Nistico (Carfagno); his grandchildren, Luca and Alessia Nistico; his uncle Pete Pileggi; his aunt Marge Quigley; his brothers, Pete (Lauren) and EJ (Dominika); his siblings' children, Gianna and Giuseppe; and his pets, Bodi and Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory can be made to pancreatic cancer research or a local animal rescue organization.
