It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick J. Hofmann (Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey), who passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Farrell (Peg) and Johan Ludwig Hofmann (Luddy). He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Michael (Carole) of Stephen's City, Virginia, Robert (Kathleen) of Hull, Massachusetts, Daniel of Atlantic Highlands and Kathleen of Atlantic Highlands. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emma Hofmann Memorial Fund, established in memory of one of Fred and Mary's beloved granddaughters.
