She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Smith and Margaret Smith; her sister Gail Thornton; and her niece Cheryl Procini. She is survived by: her daughter Kristin Papanek; her grandchildren, River Papanek and Izabele Papanek; her niece Tracey Bednash (Lenny); her great-nephew Trevor; and her niece Olivia.
