He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Buchanan and Marcella Buchanan; and his sisters, Sally Buchanan, Mel Silletti and Elaine Adamkiewicz.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Nancy (Rich Rankin) and Tracy (Artie Schmitt); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Brady Rankin, Ashley, Olivia and Aidan Schmitt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Church (747 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the same location.
