Elizabeth A. Durnak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth A. Durnak of Barnegat, New Jersey, who passed away on June 12, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth A. Durnak to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Werns and Anna Werns (family: NJ); and her former husband Norman Steele. She is survived by: her husband John Durnak; her children, Patricia (Ken Tomczyk), Norman (Marie Steele), Barbara (George Beninati), Helen (Nick Prato) and Erna (Mike Cohen); and her grandchildren, Jaime, Jonathan, Donovan, Stacy, Anthony and Nicholas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (747 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005).
