She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Werns and Anna Werns (family: NJ); and her former husband Norman Steele. She is survived by: her husband John Durnak; her children, Patricia (Ken Tomczyk), Norman (Marie Steele), Barbara (George Beninati), Helen (Nick Prato) and Erna (Mike Cohen); and her grandchildren, Jaime, Jonathan, Donovan, Stacy, Anthony and Nicholas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
