He was predeceased by: his parents, George Soehngen and Faith Soehngen; his sister Faith Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, William Grenz and Eamon Taylor.

He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Grenz, Sharon (Ed McCann), Ed (Carol Soehngen), Donald (Maryann Soehngen), Martin (Joann Soehngen) and Mary Beth Soehngen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
