It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George P. Soehngen of Barnegat, New Jersey, who passed away on June 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Soehngen and Faith Soehngen; his sister Faith Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, William Grenz and Eamon Taylor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Grenz, Sharon (Ed McCann), Ed (Carol Soehngen), Donald (Maryann Soehngen), Martin (Joann Soehngen) and Mary Beth Soehngen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Church (747 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005).
