He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evan and Anna Evan (Balicky); his brothers, John Evan and Michael Evan; his siblings-in-law, Joan Evan, Joanna Evan, Karen Bliese, Victor Hrudowsky and Ronald Bliese; and his parents-in-law, George and Mary Bliese.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn C. Evan (Bliese); his children, Lynn M. Evan (Janette Mower) and Joseph F. Evan, Jr.; his sister Mary Ann Evan-Hrudowsky; and his sister-in-law Helen Evan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
