Norman C. Modola Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman C. Modola of Barnegat, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Norman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Norman farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony (Jeanette Modola) and Barnegat. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann; his pet Domino; his siblings, Nancy Modola, David Modola (Kelly) and Anthony Modola (TJ); his brother-in-law Joseph Battaglia; and his father-in-law Carmello Battaglia. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Barnegat Fire Company are greatly appreciated. (see links below).
