She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred DiAntonio and Phillip DiAntonio; her husband George Michael Burten; her sister Marie Camerota Turkot; and her nephew Robert Camerota (Doreen).
She is survived by: her children, Georganne Ryan (Alex), Michael Burten (Sue), Anthony Burten and George Burten, Jr. (Connie); her grandchildren, Briana, Theresa, Paige, George III and Sarah; her brother Vincent DiAntonio (Rose); and her nieces and nephews, Phillip DiAntonio, Vincent DiAntonio (Rhonda), Christina Lofink (Kurt), Phillip Camerota (Val) and Connie Camerota (Gail).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (300 E Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035). A committal service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Rte 70 W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Doris's memory to either the Barrington NJ Senior Center, 229 Trenton Avenue, Barrington, NJ 08007 (Checks can be issued to "Barrington Borough" and note Doris Burten in the memo section) or Camden County Home Delivery Meals Program (https://www.camdencounty.com).
