He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia P. Cotter; his son Michael Francis Cotter, Jr.; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Patrick John Cotter, Kelly Anne Clark (Robert) and Christine Marie Hartranft (William); his daughter-in-law Autumn Cotter; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Liam, Remus, Avery, Elton and Marin; his siblings, Mary, Patricia, Kathleen and John; and his friend Dolly Long. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
