He is survived by: his wife Donna Richardson Hanft; his brother Wayne Hanft; his mother-in-law Martha Richardson; his children, Jeffrey Hanft and Lauren; his son-in-law Matt Smith; and his grandchildren, Bronson, Prescott and Spencer Smith. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, parents, and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bishop Janes United Methodist Church (38 S Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bishop Janes United Methodist Church (22 S Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920).
